Lothar Götz | Monoprints

It was back in December 2014 when Lothar came back to the workshop. Over the course of a few days we collaborated on the elements for Correction and a series of 34 monoprints, Mirror Image. Below are images of the monoprints being created and also a couple of installation shots (courtesy of Domobaal) of the exhibition currently at Domobaal, until the end of August.

Waltzing Polly | Business Cards and Garment Tags

Here are some business cards and garment tags that we printed for Waltzing Polly. Pink was printed as dry roll flats on to 300 gsm white Somerset satin, which was then laminated, trimmed and letterpress printed on our 8 x 5 Adana. A final touch with corner rounding and a hole punched in the tags.

The show features fifteen works on paper in a variety of media. Nicholas Skowron, a professor in the Printmaking department at Kent State University, chose pieces from the applicants whose work speaks to the relation between the concepts of system and nostalgia. Participating artists hail from all over the United States, including a few from Texas, to as far away as Newcastle, England. The exhibition, cosponsored by the Women Printmakers of Austin and Flash Collective, will be on display until April 17th.
