It's been a fun packed day in the studio with Karen Davies - 'Egg Girl.' We made some test stones using rubbing ink and giving 'Acid Tinting' a whirl - with lovely black ink, Penguin rings and Blackcurrent & Liquoirce a plenty.

Dan Lovelace: Signing
Tuesday, 8 December 2009
New Artist: Dan Lovelace
On Sunday we were delighted that Dan Lovelace made the long journey up from London to spend a week in the workshop. We made a start on Monday morning after a relaxing evening sampling the local beverages, purchasing books from the honesty piano and enjoying a wee bit of folk music.
Dan is initially working versions of three images as monotypes which may have hand drawn elements and/or possibly move forward as monoprints.
