Josie Dick: Toner fun

Josie Dick assisted in our workshop a couple of years ago and this summer she graduated from Newcastle University. We invited her in to the studio for a couple of days to experiment with toner powder, using similar methods as those she employed to create her degree show works. Josie made some new pieces directly on paper and also on ball grained aluminium litho plates.

The resulting works are on show at the Cluny Gallery.

Lee Turner - Monotypes

In-between current contract and publishing projects I've been working on four monotypes as a commission for a client in the US. They are all 15" x 12" and are hand printed with a direct litho press on Fabriano Tiepolo.

Artists return: Ray Richardson

As you may remember back in May, Ray Richardson came and began working on a series of new prints with us. We were delighted that he was able to return last week to continue with the series. Seven two colour lithographs have been proofed and approved. You can see six of these hung on the line next to Ray.
