P.A.N. event | Alex Charrington
What is Printmakers Anonymous?
Printmakers Anonymous began in the U.S.A. It is a group that organises semi-monthly gatherings which are hosted by various different print studios around the NYC area. The loose mission of the group involves sharing knowledge, process, and friendship. They hope to foster growth and development of relationships between individuals within the printmaking community by connecting people at their events. It is their hope to realise the development of a strong support system within their community through which members can turn to one another for advice and connect to each other in a manner which benefits not only individual members but the graphic arts and printmaking community at large.
P.A.N. = Printmakers Anonymous Newcastle
If you are interested in being part of this group you can SIGN UP.
The meetings are in frequent and relaxed. Perhaps you would like to host an event?

Laser cut stone tests
Thanks to RASKL for laser cutting one of our stones. We applied a gum mask (as with the classic line engraving lithography method) to the stone prior to the cutting being done. Following the proofing, the stone was counter-etched for drawing to be applied. Part of the stone was also used for the relief printing of a first layer.
