Monday's are now serious drawing days for Gavin Watson as he begins work on a suite of lithographs to accompany a large body of paintings. Slow and steady will win the day.

Having spied wooden type across the corridor in Theresa Easton's studio during her warming on Saturday Rachael was 'set' to work on creating new In & Out signage for Level 2.

RA Summer Exhibition

We were delighted to receive the news today that both of George Shaw's entries for this years RA Summer Exhibition (4th June - 12th Aug) have been selected and hung.

Workshop Modifications

Last week we made quite a few improvements to the workshop. After working in the space for a year it became clear what, where and why things were needed. Big up to Michael Armstrong and Nigel Easter for lending a much needed hand.

George Shaw editions signed

George Shaw returned to Newcastle to sign his three editions, Playtime, The Gamble and The Birthday. Following the signing we held a small gathering where copious amounts of Gin & Tonic (other mixers were also available) were consumed.

Our assistant Rachael Kidd has been editioning a couple of Ray Richardson's new lithographs. 

Catherine Bertola

We recently worked for Catherine Bertola on a new piece 'Revirescit (It grows green again)' a limited edition of one hundred lead cockades, produced as part of Touching Distance//Astar Buntainn, a response to Culloden Battlefield, Scotland.
