Laser cut stone tests

Thanks to RASKL for laser cutting one of our stones. We applied a gum mask (as with the classic line engraving lithography method) to the stone prior to the cutting being done. Following the proofing, the stone was counter-etched for drawing to be applied. Part of the stone was also used for the relief printing of a first layer.

Counter etched the laser cut grid stone and added a drawing. Here is a detail. Teeny reg issue with the first, relief printed, run from same stone.

The good folks over @rasklstudio have been helping run some laser engraved stone tests for a @studiopeterjevans graph. Three pictures here are of the engraved stone through an iron oxide tinted gum mask, inked stone and resulting print.
