We are pleased to have Jen Douglas in the studio today to begin work on her lithograph for the Workplace Gallery portfolio. Jen is the fifth artist so far, there is a long way to go before the project is finished.
Also in the workshop today and for the next two weeks is Kristen Bartel, over here as a volunteer from the MFA program at Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville. Kristen arrived late yesterday afternoon after a week in Europe relaxing and climbing the odd mountain. While here Kristen will help in the workshop, tearing paper, graining stones and maybe a spot of printing or assisting.
Och! The poor wee thing, coming over from the land of pop-tarts and plenty, and forced to slave in Lee Turner's printshop/dungeon. How on earth will she cope?
