View this post on Instagram Today is my Dad’s birthday. He passed thirty-five years ago. He was called Richard but preferred to be called Dick. The man that made the pencils that this lithograph was drawn with was named after a Richard who preferred to go by Dick. The father of the man who taught me litho was also called Richard and preferred to be called Dick. . . . . “Richard” 2019, Lithograph on soft white Somerset satin, paper size 192 x 130mm, edition of 25 . . . . . . #dick #richard #litho #lithograph #lithography #stonelitho #stonelithography #printmaking #drawing #art #fineart #fineartprint #original #originalprint #printedbyhand A post shared by Lee Turner (@holeeditions) on Oct 19, 2019 at 2:35am PDT
View this post on Instagram Many thanks to @arbing.editions for letting me try out your copal litho pencils (check out the feed if you haven’t seen the production pics and vids). I wasn’t happy with the first drawing (out of practice), so drew a second (more practice needed), which was hopefully a helpful test. The title of the #lithograph will be “Richard”.
